Is an information security specialist and PhD candidate with many years of successful work experience in ICT and Information Security field. He holds 2 master degrees, including one from Cardiff University (UK).
He have been worked for years as a Head of IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Office at Central Election Commission of Georgia and as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the National Bank of Georgia.
Currently, Giorgi is being involved in various USAID projects in several countries, including Ukraine, where he provides expert advice to the Central Election Commission on cyber security risk management & governance issues.
He also leads the innovative information and cyber security service provider company – “GSI Partners” and conducts projects of assessment and audit of information security management system for various entities.
Giorgi is a certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor from British Standards Institution (BSI).
Also, he has been giving lectures in cyber security studies at top Georgian Universities, regularly participates in international conferences, workshops and also, delivers public speeches on emerging and sophisticated cyber campaigns.
