Sophie Tvalavadze

Sophie has 17 years of experience working in the telecommunications and postal sphere.
In the Ministry of Economy and Development of Georgia, her activities are related to such important issues in the field of telecommunications and post as working on various international agreements and documents for the development of the field, expertise and participation in the implementation of investment and technical assistance projects, analysis of various indicators provided by companies. Organizing industry conferences and workshops, preparing draft normative and sub-normative acts, proposals, conclusions, reports, and other materials.
She has many years of experience working with both, field operators and international organizations. Her day-to-day mission is to manage and coordinate relations with international and regional organizations, to develop and participate in international projects for the development of the electronic communications and postal industry.
Sophie holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Free University and a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications from the Georgian Technical University. She is a two-times selected fellow of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Telecom World (2003,2006). Fluent in Georgian, English and Russian.
