Tamar Kobakhidze
Tamar leads the Council of Europe project in the field of media and internet in Georgia as of 2019.
She has almost 15 years experience in working at international, public and private organisations. Before joining the Council of Europe Georgia office, Tamar has worked as a Lawyer at the Legal Advise Department of the Council of Europe (Strasbour, France). Previously she has worked as a Lawyer at an international law firm BNT Attorneys at Law (Riga, Latvia) and as the Head of Division at the Department of State Representation to the European Court of Human Rights. She also held lectures in the field of international arbitration and international contract law at Riga Graduate School of Law, Latvia.
During last years of her professional work Tamar is engaged in promotion of media, internet and personal data protection in Geogia.
